The Petrie home turns into an open house as Rob and Laura welcome over a wall painter who can't help but overstay his welcome. When Vito the painter sees the pretty picture of the Petries' home-Life, painting the living room suddenly involves the bedroom, basement and even the kitchen - for cooking! Soon this painter sees that home is where the art is.

This episode draws on trust when Rob discovers Laura has a little black bank book with a secret stash of cash - which doesn't make good cents! As Rob demands an account for the account, Laura reluctantly deposits the truth - and both balance between trust and the trust fund.
